Aug 31	-	One thing I really enjoy about teaching is that I also get to learn from my students."TINT CAMERA NYEIN NYEIN HTAR BAR". That's "Make your camera steady" in Burmese, according to Sister Lucia, a nun from Myanmar. She's in batch 50. =)
Aug 13	-	Frequently asked question: What lens should I get after the kit lens? My answer: Choose between a large aperture, a big zoom range, or the ability to drink coffee from your lens.
Aug 6	-	Whenever I introduce a new piece of equipment to my students, I also make it a point show them a cheaper alternative. Hindi ko lang alam kung bakit hindi sila sumasagot kapag tinatanong ko: "GUSTO NIYO NG MURA?"
Nathaniel's favorite notes:
Jan 5	-	Ang daming nag-start ng 365-photo project. (1 photo every day of the year). Good luck sa lahat. =) More than learning about photography, I think a 365 project will allow the photographer to learn about himself. If you start something like this, don't worry about what you will shoot every day. Don't over-plan it. Be spontaneous. When you have 365 photos, look at the thumbnails. Organize them several ways. Obviously, the easiest is to organize them chronologically. But try to sort the photos in these ways: 1. By theme or subject 2. By location 3. By photographic technique 4. By score. Give each of your photos a score (1 to 10, perhaps) and group them according to score. By organizing your 365 photos in such ways, you will surely learn a lot about yourself as a photographer and as a person.
